This 05 April, 2005 photo shows statue of the Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the US, inside the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. Construction of the Lincoln Memorial began in 1914. Three individuals were picked to build a monument to the United States 16th president; an architect named Henry Bacon, sculptor Daniel Chester French, and artist Jules Guerin.
