This recent photo shows a sunrise over one of the world's greatest tourism icons, the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The bridge which is fondly referred to by locals as the 'Coathanger', has a great arch 530 metres (1650 feet) long connected to huge hinges tied to bedrock at either end, took eight years to build opening in 1932 and has helped make Australia a must-see international destination for tourists. Us-Largest Cranes-Golden Gate

Four of the world's largest cranes squeak under the Golden Gate Bridge by seven feet (210cm) 24 October, 2000, in San Francisco Bay. The 220- feet (66 meters) high cranes which were manufactured by the Zhenhua Port Machinery Company of Shanghai, China, will have to slip under the San Francisco Bay Bridge 25 October with exactly 22 inches (55cm) to spare, the tightest squeeze in bridge history. The cranes are destined for the Port of Oakland in California. (FILM) AFP PHOTO/John G. MABANGLO / AFP PHOTO / JOHN G. MABANGLO
