Stars help the Liberals. As the General Election campaign hots up on the run in to polling day, February 28, the most significant factor to emerge from the many opinion polls is the massive new support for the Liberals - normally the " Cinderella" party. When we called at their campaign headquarters on Monday (25-2-74), we found that the Liberal supporters are growing in quality as well as in quantity. There was quite a turn out of celebrities helping to sort the election literature.
