This concert was part of the autumn tour when Beatlemania exploded. 1963 saw iconic single released such as Please Please Me, From Me to You and She Loves You was riding high in the charts at this time. A few days later on 29th November, The Beatles would release the single I Want To Hold Your Hand.
Earlier on in November, on the 4th, they appeared on The Royal Command Performance at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London, in the presence of the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret.
