The Southern facing facade of US President Abraham Lincolns summer retreat where he lived during a quarter of his Presidency and commuted to the White House on horse back on August 12, 2010 on the property of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in the NE section of Washington, DC. President Lincolns Cottage is considered the most significant historic site directly associated with Lincolns presidency aside from the White House.
